about

All this album does now is remind me that I haven't done a follow-up for it in 3 years now. My interest in music hasn't faded at all, but my standards have grown higher and my time has been harder to manage. I feel kinda bad about it.

Anyway - I'm really happy with a lot of moments from this album. My favorite tracks are "Samantha" and "Gingerbread". "Bloodclot" would sound better with real instruments and better mixing. "Driving" too.

Most of these songs were inspired by feelings of friendship and love. Calling it "Love Songs" wouldn't be right, so I chose tolerance instead because it left much bigger marks on my personal life.

Enzo Aprile Brasilia, Brazil

INSERT TITLE HERE is a lazy title, I know. Sorry.
The music is definitely unique though - for better or worse. Mostly composed and arranged in FL Studio, with the aid of videogame soundfonts and free VST plugins, mastered on Audacity. This music has an emotional aspect to it that I don't know if I can convey very well to listeners. That sucks but ah well. ... more

Track Name: A Message from Fishface
As the time passes through the shallow sieve,
and you complain to me how it's so hard to live,
I can't help but stop and reminisce:
"Well shit, how did we end up like this?"
You'd think that after all the work and wars we fought,
we'd have the intelligence, the wisdom, and the thought.
But I still find you people a mystery,
'cause you've learned fucking nothing from history.

You shuffle around with your mind astray,
looking for a way to waste the day.
You worship human beings like you or me
and say, "But they were on TV!"
No shit, I saw them on the fucking box.
They're on it all the time, and they talk, talk, talk about
clothes and boys and phones and love.
I'm seeking intervention from above,
someone to grab these fucking idiots and talk some sense
to give their old minds a spot-free rinse,
to wash it all away and turn back time
to when we weren't so dumb and deaf and blind.

Oh yes, please! Get political on me!
Tell me all about how the government wronged me!
Like you can fucking tell me 'bout freedom and rights
and the liberties and law that you've been studying for nights.
"Oh, they invade my privacy, and
oh, who knows what they are seein'.
They're reading all my emails and they're tapping all my phones.
How I wish the government would just leave me alone."
How funny you should mention privacy,
as all you motherfuckers seem to be
obsessed with displaying yourself online
and prying into others' lives all the time.
And how's that reality TV you're watching?
"Who's fighting who" and "oh my gosh"-ing?
Great that they don't get to have a private life.
Wake me when he leaves his fucking wife.
Track Name: Obsess Over Me
I have loved myself before.
Now that's in the past,
'cause I found out something more -
wish I knew it wouldn't last.

I need you like an alcoholic
needs to get himself pissed.
I am glad that I could know you
but I wish I never did.

LOVE ME!
OBSESS OVER ME!!

I just don't know what's going wrong!
I have tried my best to be
the finest guy you'll ever meet!
I EVEN WROTE YOU THIS SONG!!

How could you do this to me?!
You say you don't know,
I JUST KNOW that you are lying to me!
Why won't you let me let go?!

LOVE ME! WANT ME!!
OBSESS OVER ME!!

OBSESS OVER ME!!
OBSESS OVER ME!!
OBSESS OVER ME!!
OBSESS OVER ME!!
